How Does AquaGold® Work?

AquaGold® Fine Touch is crafted with hollow fine needles that are thinner than a human hair and each coated with 24 karat gold. The specialized microneedling device is used to deliver a custom mix of wrinkle reducers, moisturizers, and serums by gently infusing microinjections into the skin.

A typical AquaGold® facial mix will combine a neurotoxin such as dermal fillers such as JUVÉDERM® with hyaluronic acid to smooth away imperfections and give you a youthful glow without traditional injections. Additional elements, such as growth factors, micro-pigment reducers, vitamin B12 and antioxidants may be added to your customized formula, depending on your aesthetic needs and goals. The unique delivery system and microchanneling process also stimulates your body’s natural collagen and elastin production to improve skin health and elasticity.

Preparing for AquaGold®

AquaGold® is non-surgical, does not involve any incisions, and does not require any anesthesia. During your consultation appointment, Tamara will discuss your skin concerns in order to create your personalized infusion formula.

Traditional microneedling or dermal roller treatments can be painful or cause significant bleeding. Frequently Asked Questions About AquaGold®

Is Aquagold® a BOTOX alternative?

Microchanneling with AquaGold® is sometimes referred to as “Micro-BOTOX” because BOTOX is often included as part of an infusion formula. However, the purpose of AquaGold® is to improve overall complexion. AquaGold® does not relax muscles the way a BOTOX injection does. If you are seeking to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, such as the 11 lines between the eyebrows, an injection of BOTOX may be your best option.

What ingredients will be in my AquaGold® formula?

Your formula will be custom-tailored to meet your needs and help you achieve your complexion goals. Common microinfusion ingredients include wrinkle reducers such as BOTOX, vitamin complexes, such as B12, and moisture boosters like hyaluronic acid.

What areas can be treated with AquaGold®?
