How Does Dermapen® Work?

Preparing for Dermapen®

What to Expect During Your Dermapen® Procedure

Dermapen® is designed to minimize discomfort. If you do prefer to have a topical anesthetic applied to skin prior to treatment, you will need to arrive early to allow time for the numbing to take effect. Your treatment will be customized to meet your needs. Depending on the depth of your microneedling, you may feel light pressure or a slightly more intense prickly sensation.

Recovery after Dermapen®

After your Dermapen® treatment, your skin may feel tight or warm and you will likely experience some temporary redness. You can resume regular activities right away, but you should avoid sun exposure and skincare treatments such as chemical peels for at least one week. Tamara will advise you on which products to use after your treatment.
